Nonwoven fabric has many excellent functions, and its application is more and more extensive. Let's introduce its classification.
Classification according to production process:
1. Spunlace nonwoven:
The high-pressure micro water jet is sprayed into one or more layers of fiber nets, so that the fibers are entangled with each other, so that the fiber nets can be strengthened and have a certain strength.
2. Thermosetting nonwovens:
It refers to adding fiber like or powder like hot-melt bonding reinforcement materials to the fiber mesh, and then heating, melting and cooling the fiber mesh to form a cloth.
3. Pulp air-laid nonwovens:
It can also be called dust-free paper and dry paper-making non-woven fabric. It uses the air flow to form a net to loosen the wood pulp fiberboard into a single fiber state, and then uses the air flow method to make the fiber agglutinate on the net forming curtain, and then the fiber net is reinforced into a cloth.
4. Wet nonwovens:
The fiber raw materials placed in the water medium are opened into single fibers, and different fiber raw materials are mixed to make fiber suspension slurry. The suspension slurry is delivered to the mesh forming mechanism, and the fibers are meshed in the wet state and then reinforced into cloth.
5. Spunbond nonwovens:
After the polymer has been extruded and stretched to form a continuous filament, the filament is laid into a web, which is then self-adhesive, heat adhesive, chemical adhesive or mechanical reinforcement method, so that the web becomes a non-woven fabric.
6. Melt blown nonwovens:
The technological process is: polymer feeding → melt extrusion → fiber formation → fiber cooling → network formation → reinforcement and cloth formation.
7. Needle-punching nonwovens:
A kind of dry non-woven fabric, needle-punching nonwoven is to use the puncture function of the needle to strengthen the fluffy fiber net into cloth.
8. Sewn non-woven fabric:
One kind of dry non-woven fabric, the sewing method is to use the warp knitting coil structure to reinforce the fiber net, yarn layer, non-woven material (such as plastic sheet, plastic thin metal foil, etc.) or their combination to make non-woven fabric.
